My name is Horst Lange, born on 20/01/1940. I've started the hobby of building historic ship models for fisheries and others not until the age of 45. But for business reasons I had to take a 20 year break of it. But now I've found back to my hobby again, although it has become somewhat more difficult with the shaky hands.

At first I naturally started with a relatively simple ship, which was a Felucca. I went on with a Finkenwerder fishing boat with self sewn sails on a sewing machine from 1913. (By the way, it became pretty perfect and looks very good.)

Them I became coltish and tried to build the Charles W. Morgan. An American whaler, three masts and  complett with all the fishing boats. Since I had not much time to it took me two years. But is a super ship.
